Why should I give?

Life Giving is releasing God’s grace through surrendered obedience.

According to the Bible, money is NOT neutral.

Did you know that in the Bible…

There are a little over 500 verses that speak about prayer.
There are a little less than 500 verses that speak about faith.

But there are over 2350 verses that speak about money and possessions.

Sixteen of the thirty-eight parables Jesus taught were about money and possessions.

God is not after your wallet; He is after your heart

The Lord knows that “… where your treasure is there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21

God is not as concerned about how much money you have, but how much money has you!

Money is NOT neutral.

Money is the only thing we are told we cannot love and at the same time love God.
Matthew 6:24 (ESV)
“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Money is a wonderful servant, but a terrible master.

1 Timothy 6:10 (ESV)
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. Those who learn to make money their servant will be entrusted with the true riches

Luke 16:11 (ESV)
If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches?
